Easium 5 mg is a branded diazepam medicine manufactured by Opsonin Pharma Ltd. Each tablet contains diazepam BP 5 mg, an active ingredient belonging to the benzodiazepine group of medicines.

Diazepam works by strengthening the calming action of gamma-aminobutyric acid, commonly known as GABA, in the central nervous system. This can produce anxiolytic, muscle-relaxing, anticonvulsant and sedative effects.
